It had been half a year since I'd been to Kanagawa. Making a regular point of heading to areas outside central Tokyo is, in sixteen years of doing this, a habit of just the last few years. The "local flavor" of each region has started to fascinate me.
I picked Jukujo Taikijo Atsugi. The 60-minute course, ¥9,000. Atsugi area, hours 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. (Delivery health, or deriheru, is an outcall service where the girl comes to you.)
Looking back the next morning
The morning after a good experience, the details often stay sharp. Over breakfast at the hotel, I ran back through last night's 60 minutes at Jukujo Taikijo Atsugi.
The way she talked, the way she moved, how she used the time — specific moments came back to me. What stuck most was "the shift in the second half." She remembered a moment in the first half where I'd reacted, and in the second half she came back to it. The fact that I still remembered this the next morning is itself proof of how deep the impression ran.
Some experiences stay with you until the next morning; others fade by the same night. What makes the difference, I believe, is less technique than whether your emotions got moved. Even a technically flawless experience fades by morning if nothing emotional moved. Tonight my emotions moved.
The next morning I could honestly say "good call" about finding a place at this level in Kanagawa. ¥9,000 for 60 minutes. If you still want to come back the next morning, that's the highest rating there is. Jukujo Taikijo Atsugi cleared that bar. Sixteen years in this business, and the experiences that survive until morning aren't many. Tonight became one of those rare ones.
Being honest: this time I missed a little
Overall, my time at Jukujo Taikijo Atsugi was above the bar. But there was a part that didn't fully line up with my expectations.
The girl's technique was fine. The service flow was well put together. The part that missed, specifically, was "warmth." She was polite, but there was a faint sense of someone "processing the job."
Analyzing the miss
This may not be Jukujo Taikijo Atsugi's problem so much as my own ordering. I should have made my request — "a girl with warmth" — more specific.

Why I'd still choose it
The shop's own quality is high. Reception was courteous, arrival was on time, and the girl's technique was above average. When I say it "missed," I'm talking about the tiniest gap. Next time I come here, I'll be more careful with my request. That's all it is. Atsugi area, 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
