This time I'm writing it up as an example of using a health (delivery health-style) shop. Mizuiro Ribbon is a Tokyo shop covering the Yoshiwara vicinity. Hours are 9:00–24:00, and the 50-minute course runs ¥5,000.
Tokyo area. Hopefully this helps anyone scouting a health shop in this part of town.
On using a health shop on a business trip
This is my third Tokyo business trip. On the first one I didn't even have the bandwidth to think about the adult scene, but from the second on I started thinking about "how to use the nights on a work trip." I consider this a skill a 39-year-old picked up over a 17-year career.
When you pick a health shop on a trip, the key is "how to judge without knowing the area." In an area I use regularly, I've got experience and accumulated info. In a first-time area, I've got none of that. So the phone handling becomes the only thing I can judge by. When I called Mizuiro Ribbon, the courtesy of the reception told me "this one won't be a miss."
When the girl showed up, that read was confirmed. A shop with a high "phone-to-real-thing" match rate is proof of solid management. The photos, the phone explanation, the girl who actually shows up — when that chain is consistent, you can trust the shop.
The Tokyo girl had a slightly different vibe from central Tokyo. Tokyo area. I think the culture of this place shapes the air the people who work here carry. No rushing. A sense of ease. Feeling that "regional character" in the body is one of the reasons I use a health shop on a trip.
50 minutes, ¥5,000. I log it as an investment in myself, separate from travel expenses. Self-management so the day's fatigue doesn't carry over to tomorrow — which is maybe putting it a bit too grandly, but half of me means it. As a Tokyo experience, tonight was worth putting on the record.
On the city of Tokyo
Tokyo area. This isn't my first time coming to a soapland in this city, but it's my first time picking Mizuiro Ribbon.
The "feel of the clientele" differs by area. In Tokyo, the soapland crowd is comparatively calm, and the service side seems to tailor its approach to match.
The experience at Mizuiro Ribbon
I called Mizuiro Ribbon and picked the 50-minute course. ¥5,000. The wait until the girl arrived was within expectations, and she showed up right on time.
That "right on time" is one trust indicator in this trade.
Price and the feel of the area
For a Tokyo soapland, ¥5,000 felt fair. Value compared to the city center, service quality compared to the regions — Tokyo strikes me as an area where that balance is struck.

There's no doubt tonight's Tokyo was a good one. Mizuiro Ribbon accounts for a big part of why.
