It had been half a year since I'd been to Sendai. Pointing myself regularly toward areas outside Tokyo is something I've only done in the last few years of a 16-year run. The "local flavor" of each region has started to get interesting to me.
I went with Play Boy. The 45-minute course for ¥8,000. Aoba Ward / Kokubuncho area, open 7:00 to midnight.
Looking back the next morning
After a good experience, the details tend to stay sharp the next morning. Over breakfast at the hotel, I spent a little while looking back on last night's 45 minutes at Play Boy.
The way she talked, the way she moved, how she used the time — specific moments came back to me. What stuck with me most was "the shift in the second half." She remembered a moment in the first half where I'd responded, and in the second half she came back to it. The fact that I still remembered this the next morning is proof of how deep an impression it left.
There are experiences that stay with you through the next morning, and there are ones that fade by the end of that same night. What creates the difference, I think, isn't technique — it's whether your emotions moved. Even a technically flawless experience fades by morning if nothing moved inside you. Tonight was an experience where something moved.
The next morning, I could honestly say I was glad I'd found a shop of this caliber in Sendai. Having nights like this on a business trip changes your impression of the whole area too. Sendai became a place I want to come back to. If another trip comes up, I plan to call Play Boy. That's the whole of what "a reason to repeat" means.
¥8,000 for 45 minutes. If you still want to come back the next morning, that's the highest rating there is. Play Boy cleared that bar. In 16 years around this industry, experiences that last until the next morning aren't many. Tonight became one of those rare nights.
Being honest: I missed a little this time
The experience at Play Boy was, on the whole, above standard. But there was a part that didn't fully line up with what I'd expected.
Her technique was fine. The service flow was well put together. If I name the part that missed, it's the "warmth." She was polite, but there was a faint sense of someone "processing a task."
Analyzing why it missed
This may not be Play Boy's problem but my own ordering problem. I should have been more specific with my request for "a warm girl."
¥8,000 for 45 minutes. Play Boy.
Why I'd still choose it
The shop's own quality is high. The reception is courteous, arrival was on time, and the technique was above average. When I said it "missed," I'm talking about just a tiny bit of misalignment. Next time I come here, I'll make my order more careful. That's all it is. Aoba Ward / Kokubuncho area, 7:00 to midnight.
