I was walking a Chiba side street when I caught the sign. Harenchi — I'd never heard the name, but the clean look of the place and the way they handled the phone sold me. Sometimes these "happened to walk by" encounters turn into long relationships.
The 80-minute course runs ¥7,980. It's a delivery health (deriheru) outfit working the Funabashi area, open 13:00–23:00.
Looking back the next morning
After a good night, the details tend to stay sharp the next morning. Over breakfast at the hotel, I ran back through the 80 minutes at Harenchi.
The way she talked, the way she moved, how she spent the time — specific moments came back to me. What stuck most was "the shift in the back half." She'd remembered the spots where I'd reacted earlier and came back to them later. The fact that I still remembered this the next morning means the impression ran deep.
Some experiences stay with you until the next morning; others fade by that same night. What makes the difference, I think, is less technique than whether emotion actually moved. An experience can be technically flawless, but if nothing moved emotionally, it's gone by morning. Tonight, something moved.
The next morning I could honestly say I was glad to have found a shop of this caliber in Chiba. When you can have a night like that on a work trip, it changes how you see the whole region. Chiba became a place I want to come back to. Next time I'm out here, I plan to call Harenchi. That, in full, is "the reason to repeat."
¥7,980 for 80 minutes. If the next morning you still think "I want to go back," that's the highest grade there is. Harenchi cleared that bar. Sixteen years around this business, and experiences that survive until morning aren't common. Tonight was one of the few.
I'll be honest: this time it was a little off
The experience at Harenchi was, on the whole, above the line. But it didn't fully line up with what I'd expected.
Her technique was fine. The service flow was well put together. The part that was off, specifically, was "the warmth." She was polite, but a faint "I'm processing a task" feeling crept in.
Why it missed
This may not be Harenchi's problem so much as mine — a problem with my order. I should have been more specific about wanting "a girl with warmth."

Why I'd still choose it
The shop's own quality is high. The desk is courteous, the arrival was on time, and the girl's technique was above average. When I say it "missed," I'm talking about a tiny gap. Next time I'm here, I'll just put more care into the order. That's all it is. Funabashi area, 13:00–23:00.
